Alpine Animal Control is owned and operated by Claude & Cheryl Oleyar. Claude manages the field work and Cheryl manages the office.

Claude has had a fascination with wildlife since early childhood.  The passion continues today through his career as a wildlife biologist and nuisance wildlife control operator. He has over 40 years of field experience dealing with wildlife problems and issues in Colorado, both practically and politically.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Forest/Wildlife Management from Va Tech
  • Master of Science degree in Wildlife Management/Ecology from Va Tech
  • Regional Director, National Wildlife Control Operators Association
  • Member, The Wildlife Society Wildlife Damage Management Working Group
  • Certified training in bird control, shooting in sensitive environments and various trapping methods/techniques
  • Licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator/Qualified Supervisor for outdoor rodents, Colorado Department of Agriculture
  • Regular contributor to various popular & technical trade publications
  • Regular contributor/speaker at trade seminars and conferences
  • Other memberships:  National Rifle Association, National Trappers Association, Colorado Trappers Association
